CVIP Policies

The University has established policies, approved by the Board of Trustees, that govern the management of its intellectual property and provide guidelines concerning outside consulting by its faculty. Policies also address conflicts of interest pertaining to intellectual property.

CVIP Guidelines


CVIP recently developed guidelines that will be used by its case managers in negotiating license agreements for UMass technologies, and for reviewing industry sponsored research agreements.
